Sofia "cool " guide

En varios post anteriores os he ido presentado diferentes lugares de Sofia, ahora he decidido sistematizar la información y enseñar os los sitios mas " cool" .
Me ha motivado mucho para hacer esta guía,  la llegada de una de mis seguidoras a Bulgaria , así que desde aquí te doy las gracias Ruth!

In my previous posts I have been talking about cool places in Sofia, and finally decided to organize all recommendations in a small guide . One of my followers,Ruth, pushed me and motivated me to do it, so I am really very thankful about it.

                                       Para todos los días / Every day places

 Gelateria Confetti { c / Graf Ignatiev 4 , tel. 02/988 4444 }  ya os he hablado de ellos aquí y aquí . La carta es italiana, tienen menú del día, una fabulosa selección de postres y helados caseros y tienda gourmet con productos italianos . El sitio es muy coqueto y tiene una terraza- patio interior súper agradable en verano.

You have seen already this places in 2 previous posts (just klick on the links above where says "aqui" ) , that´s a delicious italian restaurant where you can taste the best homemade ice cream and desserts , there is also a gourmet shop with "made in Italy " products. The summer garden is gorgeous . 

Photosynthesis  { Bul. Vasil Levski 57 , tel. + 359 (0) 888 024999 } , podeis encontrarlos en este post . Ellos se definen como lugar para fotografia, ideas y personas. En realidad esta cafeteria es un " art club " que comparte edificio con una macro-tienda de fotografía.

They call themselves : a place for photography,ideas and people ; this is kind of " Art club " Coffee situated in the second floor of the best photo shop in Sofia . 

Sol y Luna  { calle Shesti Septemvri 39 , tel. + 359 (0) 899 138411 } , hace muy poquito les dedique un post completo que ha sido un éxito total de visitas. Es un multi-espacio compuesto por restaurante vegetariano y panadería artesanal.

I have posted about them few days ago , this is my favorite vegetarian restaurant and artisan bakery. 

Pastorant { calle Tzar Asen 16 , tel. + 359 2 981 4482 } os lo presente aqui . Especializado en pasta fresca, pequeñito, coqueto y con una atención muy personalizada.

Cabra Natural Foods & Bar { calle Oborishte 18, tel. + 359 2 846 8687 } es otro restaurante vegetariano y cafetería con carta muy bien seleccionada y excelente atención. Os he hablado de ellos aquí.

Esterhasi Bar,Desserts & Dinner { bul. Tsar Osvoboditel 21, tel. +359 (0)884 441441 }  , a ellos les dedique la primera publicación en el blog, ahora que la veo , me doy cuenta de todo lo que evolucionado .Es un lugar súper " cool " con ambiente guapísimo.

This is a very cool place, ideal for after work cocktail . Modern design and great service.

Cafe Ma Baker  { calle G.S. Rakovski 136 tel. + 359 (0)899 824623 }, es una fusión entre panadería artesanal y cafeteria "cozy " , ideal para desayunos , meriendas o un capricho dulce con cafe.

Perfect, cozy, place for breakfast or snack , where you will find homemade croissant , delicious coffee or even fresh squeezed juice. 

Memento { Bul. Vitosha 32 , tel. +359 (0)882 422928 } , ubicado en la calle comercial por excelencia, es el sitio ideal para hacer una parada durante el shopping y tomar un snack o degustar uno de los tés de la excelente selección que ofrecen.

This is the place for break during a shopping , as it is located on the famous shopping street Vitosha . Tasty coffee, tea selection and snacks .


Park bar { calle Shipka 26 , tel. +359 (0) 898 463039 } , esta justo detrás de la Universidad de Sofia, en la esquina de un pequeño parque,se puede ir a todas y ofrecen desde desayunos , menú con platos ligeros y todo tipo de cocteles. Siento no poder enseñar os alguna foto , pero podéis echar un vistazo en su pagina web

Park bar is located just beyond the University of Sofia , in a park corner . You can go there for breakfast, afternoon tea or coffee , light food or cocktail .

La Capannina { pl. Narodno Sabranie 9 , tel. +359 2 9804438 } , no tienen pagina web, ni perfil en facebook, y tampoco tengo fotos bonitas de este maravilloso sitio. Pero es que tiene tanto éxito , que seguramente no le hace falta promocionarse mas . Tiene presencia en mis anteriores posts aquí y aquí . En verano tiene una terraza muy agradable con vistas a la catedral de Sofia y el Parlamento.

This fine italian cuisine restaurant has nor website , neither Facebook profile. But they are so successful that they do not need it .Located just in front of the Parliament and Cathedral of Sofia, you can enjoy the vies form its summer floral terrace. The food is delicious and the service is excellent .  


Captain Cook { bul. James Baucher 100 , tel. +359 (0)882 999001 } , es el mejor sitio para comer pescado y marisco. Esta ubicado en el hotel Kempinski, con interior sofisticado, terraza - jardín con vistas al lago artificial en el verano y un servicio impecable.

Captain Cook is my favorite for fish and seafood . Located in Hotel Kempinski , viewing the artificial lake , nice , quiet corner , sophisticated interiors and faultless service.
                                 

                                                


EGO { Tsar Osvoboditel 12 , tel. +359 (0) 878 444474 } , es otro clásico de excelente cocina italiana , ubicado en el súper centro de la ciudad.

This is another option for fine italian food. Absolutely recommendable .


                                              

                                             ::  Planes de noche / Night life ::


La noche no es mi fuerte , pero las pocas veces que salgo voy a un jazz club llamado 
Sofia Life club  { plaza Bulgaria 1, tel. + 359 (0) 888 331193 }, esta ubicado en la planta subterránea del Palacio de la cultura , conocido como NDK , y tiene un programa muy animado con 4/5  conciertos en directo por semana. 


I am not the right person to recommend Night life places , as I am going out max 3 times  per year. But here is a place that I love , called Sofia Life Club. A Jazz club with busy schedule of 4/5 life concerts weekly.

A parte de la mítica calle Vitosha en el centro ciudad, hay varios centros comerciales , os doy las direcciones de 3 de ellos .

Beside of the legendary street Vitosha in the city center, they are several shopping malls . This are my favorites .

Y  una  tienda muy coqueta y curiosa 

" Casa para Angeles "  { calle General Parensov 20 , tel. +359 (0) 898 365533 }, es una fusión entre tienda de decoración y cafetería, súper acogedora .

And this cozy place is a fusion between deco shop and cafeteria . It deserves a visit. 




                                            :: Cuidados de belleza / Beauty care ::


Si necesitáis algún retoque del peinado , nueva manicura o repaso de la depilación os dejo un par de direcciones donde suelo ir.

Laser Center , tienen 2 locales uno en { Bul. Vasil Levski 41, tel. +359 (0) 29800100 }  , el otro en { Bul. Alexander Stambolyiski 55 A , tel +359 (0)29800200 } . Estoy muy contenta con los resultado y pude negociar un precio paquete.

I am very happy with laser depilation, and was happy to discover this Laser center where I was able to negotiate a package price . 


Foto depilación "No mas vello "  , esta franquicia española tiene varios locales en Sofia, a mi personalmente la foto depilación no me ha hecho efecto, he conseguido mejor resultado con el láser, pero como esto es algo muy individual , para las personas que le conviene , les dejo la pagina web con todas las direcciones .

For those of you that prefer IPL depilation , I would recommend the spanish franchise " No has vello " , they have several studios in Sofia, please check their website for locations. 


Fetish Hair Studio  { calle Milin Kamak 15, tel. + 359 (0) 9633773 } , el local no tiene nada de especial, pero los peluqueros son muy profesional , no es casualidad que ahí van todas las cantantes de pop folk . Mi peluquero favorito, Veni Kondakov, que ademas es actor en una serie nacional . Glamour total  !

You would never imagine that behind its regular door, you can meet the most famous pop- folk stars of the bulgarian scene . There is nothing special about the place, but the hairdresser are super professional . My personal hairdresser , Veni Kondakov, is also actor, featuring in a famous bulgarian television series.
